youngster featured at ‘Give Kids the World Village’
Tom was honored to create a lifesize bronze scene of a young child with Henri Landwirth, founder of Give Kids the World Village in Kissimmee, Florida. The portrait bronze serves to represent the unique and compassionate service Mr. Landwirth and this wonderful organization have demonstrated to thousands of children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
Both before and after his retirement in 1986 from a successful, innovative hotel industry career that spanned more than 50 years, Henri has devoted himself to improving the lives of those in need through numerous foundations and non-profit organizations he has founded in addition to Give Kids The World
Village. Please go to their website and read for yourself their Mission of Hope
and consider joining them in these worthy efforts.
Below are photos of Henri posing with a little girl, the finished tabletop bronze presented to him on his birthday, and the installed life-size memorial sculpture monument placed in the newest villa in the GKTW Village.
