Life-size action sculpture recognizes
Medal of Honor recipient Sp5c Clarence E. Sasser
At the Brazoria County Courthouse in Angleton, Texas, a quiet and humble man was honored on Veterans' Day 2010 for outstanding bravery and was memorialized into the 40−foot "Ring of Honor" with a life-size
portrait bronze sculpture created by Tom White.
After meeting MOH recipient Clarence Sasser and learning of his acts of bravery during the Vietnam War, Tom was privileged to create this "Medal of Honor" military bronze statue. The life-size military memorial joins the 40-foot "Ring of Honor," which also includes Tom's "Gold Star Mom" in this veterans war memorial honoring all branches of the military.
